I'm gonna give you some basic information on how to protect yourself from those nasty hackers out there, not to mention scammers. For example...
If a chobot tells you they can get you LOADS of bugs or make you an agent/moderator/citizen....
Do NOT ever trust them. They are most likely lieing, and the chances of them making you an agent/moderator/citizen or give you loads of bugs are very slim. D:
Never give out your password.
Your probably wondering what would happen if you DID get scammed or hacked. Don't panick though, everything can be sorted. :)
If a chobot changes your password...
Restore it! It's pretty simple. Before you login, just click 'Restore' next to the password box. Then type in the email you used to make your chobot.
You'll then get an email with your current password, but you'll need to change it. Log into chobots with the password, and click 'Menu' button. Choose the Change your password option.
:) Cool, right? Your account will again be yours, but remember not to share your password with anyone, even if it's MEGA tempting. D:
Note: If your logging into your chobots account on a Library computer or a shared laptop/computer, DON'T tick the 'Remember me' button, or anyone will be able to access your account. ;)
